A previous prize winner at the Busoni and Chopin International Piano Competitions, Argentine pianist Ingrid Fliter was chosen as the recipient of the prestigious 2006 Gilmore Artist Award. Protégé of the great Martha Argerich, she enjoys a flourishing international reputation through acclaimed performances in major venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Philharmonia in St. Petersburg, Alte Oper in Frankfurt, and Philharmonie in Cologne.
